the vampires game

I envy you my friend
You can be out in the light
I truly miss those days
When we would lay in the grass in the sun

You think me dead though I am not
I will not sit in a grave to be forgotten

In my memories I see that night
That my whole life was turned upside down with one mistake

You dared me on Halloween night to go into that graveyard
We were told that a vampire lived there but we were too naive to care

I went in and never came out
You called up a search party but your search was fruitless
It was already too late for me for I was young and stupid

You still do not believe in vampires or so I heard
By the time I’m through with you, you will know what to fear

I come to you to show you I’m still above ground
You quiver in terror and stutter in fear

I tell you a secret and a truth all the same
You are still my friend and a friend to the end you will stay

One bite and its over I tell you only twice
You shudder and try to run but you’ve run out of luck tonight

You won’t feel a thing only a prick
Just like a needle with morphine in it

You still try to run but you know I will catch you
That wound on your hand will lead me right to your hiding place

When I catch up you will never forget
This night I turned you into one of me, my friend

The blood starts to flow and I drink while you scream
Soon the silence is all that remains

Later you wake and you thirst for blood
I take you out for your first hunt you’ve so much to learn

And so the cycle never ends
So long as there are vampires to carry the curse
